Individual sessions are guided by your needs and interests. They can be profoundly helpful when healing from illness or injury, or seeking relief from anxiety, stress, or poor sleep.
Somatic and restorative practices allow you to come more fully into your body, working from whatever state you are in the moment. Whether interested in moving more easily, or resting more deeply, each session includes attention to breath, alignment, and interoceptive awareness (the sensory space within the body) to support recovery and well-being. This body-centered approach is rooted in restorative and gentle yoga, yoga nidra, Feldenkrais, and current understandings of how our bodies respond to stress.
No prior experience of any kind is required; come as you are, in comfortable clothes. These practices are inclusive, for all ages and abilities, and can be modified to most needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
Note: The yoga therapy components of my teaching are based on my training in yoga therapeutics and Ayurveda - not on the curriculum of an IAYT (International Alliance of Yoga Therapists) program.
Fees and Policies:
In-home session - 125: 75 minute private session in your own home
In-studio session - 100: 75 minute private session in Sparkill, NY studio
Semi-private Restorative yoga class for 2 people - 50/ea., or 3 - 35/ea. (90 minute class)
